We attracted a wide and diverse client base including many food importers and we have established a strong association with the garment manufacturing industry, much of whose production still takes place outside the European Union.
Our involvement with many Eastern European hauliers paved the way for our recent diversification. Having acted on behalf of many hauliers from the newly ascended EU states it seemed natural in May of 2004 to continue our working relationship. The decision was therefore made to offer our clients transport services as well as the continuing customs clearance and Intrastat services. We became members of the ‘British International Freight Association (BIFA) and trade to their conditions which are the industry standard.
It has been a busy time in the APS Freight Ltd offices since May of last year and all the hard work has paid off. We now have our key staff in place who, bring to our operation years of experience. Our agency arrangements are established and our services have been operating for some time now, with great success.
Quality of service established our excellent reputation as a customs clearance agent and the same quality of service is guaranteed to all of our transport customers. To surmise we aim to offer cost effectiveness, flexibility but above all quality of service.
